About Pierce Clinic Of Chiropractic

The Pierce Clinic Of Chiropractic has been serving St. Petersburg and the greater Tampa Bay community since 1968.

Chiropractic has been a part of the Pierce family since 1917. Dr. G. Stanford Pierce, Sr., a third generation Chiropractor, has experienced first-hand the wonders of lifetime Upper Cervical chiropractic health care and are dedicated to perfecting their unique system of health care for the generations to come.

Dr. Pierce was the third recipient of the C.C.E. Sherman College Board Certification in Atlas Orthogonality and has attended over 50 symposiums in the analysis and treatment of neck conditions.  In addition to being the founder and developer of the Advanced Orthogonal Techniques and Procedures program, Dr. Pierce was an instructor for the R.W. Sweat Foundation of Atlanta, Ga. He is currently the Lead Instructor on the Advanced Orthogonal Technique and designed the Advanced Orthogonal Percussion Adjusting Instrument.  He has participated on the Extended Faculty of the Sherman College of Chiropractic, Life Chiropractic College West and Palmer College of Florida. He also developed the first Post Graduate Intern Program for Advanced Upper Cervical Doctors.  Dr. Pierce is a dedicated Christian, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and enjoys an occasional game of golf.

 

Dr. Christopher Slininger

Dr. Chris is originally from Point Pleasant, NJ.   He joined the U.S. Army Reserves out of high school and served in Kuwait as a Heavy Construction Engineer.  He continued his military career as a Training NCO in the Medical Corps.  While in the service, he completed his Bachelors of Science from Eastern University as an Athletic Trainer, working with many athletes and teams on proper training as well as rehabilitation and prevention of injuries.  He went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward California where he focused his studies on Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care.  Dr. Chris is passionate about helping people understand the importance of Upper Cervical Care as they incorporate all aspects of wellness.  He and his wife Mary are bringing us their experience in exercise training with athletic team training, as running coaches, and as yoga instructors.  They are both experienced teachers in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and exercise.

Dr. Duyen Ngo

Dr. Duyen Ngo was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Public Health from the University of South Florida.  While concentrating on her studies, Dr. Ngo volunteered with various health care organizations where she developed a passion for helping others and making a difference in her community.  As she pursued to enhance her knowledge and credentials in health care, she moved to Port Orange, Florida to complete her Doctorate Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  During her first year as a Chiropractic student, she was exposed to Advanced Orthogonal Care and began her post-graduate training while she was still in undergraduate studies.

Her educational and professional experiences have given her the opportunity to care for patients in respect to various aspects of the human body.  Her goal is to help suffering humanity and promote a healthy lifestyle through Upper Cervical Chiropractic care, exercise and balanced nutrition.

Dr. Josh

Dr. Joshua Silver

Dr. Joshua Silver was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Sonoma State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and studied the human frame. While there, he also attended National Holistic Institute where he completed his training in Massage Therapy. However, after meeting a chiropractor and having a life changing experience, he decided to pursue a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA where he graduated with honors. In his time there, he was involved with many leadership positions and spoke at several seminars. Finally, he decided to pursue a Diplomat in Functional Neurology and attended post graduate training with the Carrick Institute. After discovering Advanced Orthogonal Care, he became interested in mastering the technique and decided to move from California to Florida to study with Dr. Pierce. Today, he uses his knowledge in Advanced Orthogonal and Functional Neurology to assure his patients have the best recovery possible. He believes every individual deserves an honest chance at maximum health and tries to exemplify that within himself.

Dr. Pierce serves as an Extended Faculty for Sherman College of Chiropractic, Life Chiropractic College West and Life University and is also a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and Pinellas County Chiropractic Society. All of the Doctors at the Pierce Clinic are members of the Florida Chiropractic Society, the International Chiropractic Association, and the Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.

In that the health and integrity of every human being is, by design, sustained through balanced function of its many internal systems controlled by the brain and nervous system, our focus is on correcting the cause of dysfunction and maintaining the health and well-being of all those whom we serve.
